Chrona Validation Suite
Chrona’s Validator: This advanced tool allows the simulation of the real-time behavior of an entire control system including: The software. The execution platform. The operating system services. And the plant under control.
The Chrona Validator can be readily applied to your current system – and does not require the use of any other Chrona tools, in particular the Timing Definition Language (TDL). You simply gain all the benefits of an accurate software-in-the-loop simulation and an integrated debugging environment. But without having to jettison or redo legacy systems.
If you already benefit from Chrona's highly advanced, platform-independent Timing Defining Language (TDL) for modeling and fully automated code generation, you might need to analyze and thus validate the network communication in case of distributed systems. TDL-based Chrona components can independently switch modes. One of Chrona's patents covers the avoidance of a combinatorial explosion of the number of bus schedules that would have to be generated for each mode combination. Observed with state-of-the-art bus analyzer tools the contents of the communicated frames would only be a bit sequence lacking semantics. Thus, we provide the Chrona VisualAnalyzer tool to correctly interpret and view the communication if TDL-based Chrona components are involved in a communication over a network.
